Temporary Lane Closures along Morgan Street to begin October 17, 2016 for Roadway and Infrastructure Improvements

This notice is archived content and this information may no longer be accurate.

A portion of Morgan Street from Brorein Street to Whiting Street will be closed beginning on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 9am as part of the Roadway and Infrastructure Improvement Project to support area development.  The two northbound lanes on Morgan Street at the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway Morgan Street exit ramp will be closed until 4pm on Sunday, October 23st, weather permitting.

The westbound Lee Roy Selmon Expressway (Exit 7) ramp to Morgan Street / Brorein Street will be partially closed.  The Morgan Street northbound lane will be closed; however, the westbound Brorein Street lane will remain open to traffic during this phase of the construction.  The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use the westbound Kennedy Boulevard (Exit 8) from the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway to access Morgan Street to the north of Brorein Street.

Additional lane closures in the area along Channelside Drive will remain in effect through summer 2017.
