05/04/17

A portion of Armenia Avenue between Cleveland Avenue and Platt Street will close on Monday, May 8, 2017, for sanitary sewer and road repairs.  Armenia Avenue from Kennedy Boulevard to Platt Street will be reduced to a single lane at 9 am on May 8, 2017, as the City contractor repairs sewer lines between Cleveland Avenue and Platt Street.  In addition, Cleveland Street will be reduced to a single lane between Moody Avenue to Armenia Avenue for traffic control. Armenia Avenue and Cleveland Street will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, weather permitting.

The sidewalk on the west side of Armenia Avenue between Cleveland Avenue and Platt Street will be closed during a portion of the construction.  During that time, pedestrians will be detoured via signage to other sidewalks in the area.

The City recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
