Temporary Lane Closures on Ashley Drive to begin November 10, 2016 for Tree Maintenance

A portion of Ashley Drive from I-275 to Jackson Street will be closed on two consecutive Thursday’s beginning on Thursday, November 10, 2016.  Ashley Drive from I-275 to Jackson Street will have temporary lane closures in both directions of traffic from 9am to 3pm on November 10th and on November 17th as City of Tampa’s crew prune trees on Ashley Drive.  The tree maintenance work should be completed by 3pm on Thursday, November 17, 2016, weather permitting.    

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion of Ashley Drive. For motorists exiting into downtown Tampa from I-275 N, the City of Tampa recommends using Scott Street to Tampa Street to travel south through downtown. 

For motorists traveling northbound on Ashley Drive or eastbound on Kennedy Boulevard over the Kennedy bridge, motorists can use Jackson Street to get to Florida Avenue and follow the signs to I-275 S and I-275 N.
