Temporary Lane Closures on Bayshore Boulevard and W Brorein Street to begin March 16, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of Bayshore Boulevard between W Brorein Street and W Platt Street and W Brorein Street between S Ashley Drive and Bayshore Boulevard will close daily beginning on Monday, March 16, 2020 for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be completing final restoration for a small wireless facility on the east side of Bayshore Boulevard between W Brorein Street and W Cardy Street. 

 

One (1) southbound lane on Bayshore Boulevard between W Brorein Street and W Platt Street and one (1) westbound lane on W Brorein Street between S Ashley Drive and Bayshore Boulevard will close daily from 9 am to 3 pm beginning on March 16, 2020. 

 

One (1) southbound lane on Bayshore Boulevard between W Brorein Street and W Platt Street and three (3) westbound lanes on W Brorein Street between S Ashley Drive and Bayshore Boulevard will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

 

All lanes on Bayshore Boulevard and W Brorein Street will reopen to traffic by 3 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, weather permitting.

 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
