Tampa, Fla. (December 3, 2015) –  Beginning Sunday, December 6, 2015, the two northern lanes of West Cass Street at North Boulevard will be closed.  We will retain 1 EB lane and 1 WB lane in the southern lanes on Cass St at N Blvd. The lane closures are for the installation of the new 36-inch water main and installation of the stormwater box culverts.  The closure should last approximately 4 weeks.

At the same time, Cypress Street at North Boulevard will open for thru traffic into Tampa Preparatory School.  Parking on Cypress Street will be available for visitors to Julian B. Lane Park and the Stewards Foundation. North Boulevard from West Cass Street to Cypress St. will remain closed.

Motorists traveling on West Cass Street are encouraged to utilize Willow Avenue to head northbound in lieu of North Boulevard.

The public can stay up to date on the project by visiting tampa-ucap.com.  Questions or comments should be directed to the UCAP hotline at (813) 777-9222.  For additional information, please contact Tricia Shuler with CH2M HILL at (813) 874-7717.
