Temporary Lane Closure(s) Channelside Drive and S Nebraska Avenue began October 10, 2017 for Traffic Signal Construction

A portion of Channelside Drive between S Florida Avenue and Old Water Street closed on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 to install two new traffic signal pole foundations.  One (1) lane on Channelside Drive between S Florida Avenue and Old Water Street will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm.  On October 10, 2017, a contractor installed a traffic signal pole foundation on the south side of Channelside Drive at the intersection of S Jefferson Street.  On Wednesday, October 11, 2017, the contractor will install traffic signal pole foundation on the south side of Channelside Drive at the intersection of S Nebraska Avenue.  The lane on Channelside Drive will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on October 11, 2017, weather permitting.

 

Additionally, on Thursday, October 12, 2017, S. Nebraska Avenue between Channelside Drive and E Eunice Avenue will close at 9 am to install new traffic signal pole foundation on the northwest corner of Channelside Drive and S Nebraska Avenue.  S Nebraska Avenue will be reopen to traffic by 4 pm, weather permitting.

 

Furthermore, on Friday, October 13, 2017, the contractor will install new traffic signal pole foundation on the northwest corner of Channelside Drive and S Jefferson Street.  The sidewalk on the north side of Channelside  Drive and on the west side of S Jefferson Street will be closed between 9 am and 4 pm, weather permitting.

 

E Cumberland Avenue between S Nebraska Avenue and S Caesar Street and S Caesar Street between Channelside Drive and E Walton Street will remain closed until Friday, December 29, 2017.
