Temporary Lane Closures on I275 S-Ashley/Tampa Ramp and N Ashley Drive to begin July 10, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of I275 S-Ashley/Tampa Ramp between I275 S and I275 S-Tampa Ramp and a portion of N Ashley Drive between I275 S-Tampa Ramp and W Tyler Street will close on Friday, July 10, 2020 for utility construction.  A private contractor will install a manhole and sewer tie-in on N Ashley Drive between W Fortune Street and W Tyler Street for the Mixed-Use development on the north side of W Tyler Street between N Ashley Drive and N MacInnes Place.

One (1) southbound lane on I275 S-Ashley/Tampa Ramp between I275 S and I275 S-Tampa Ramp and two (2) southbound lanes on N Ashley Drive between I275 S-Tampa Ramp and W Tyler Street will close at 9 am on July 10, 2020.

One (1) southbound lane on I275 S-Ashley/Tampa Ramp between I275 S and I275 S-Tampa Ramp and one (1) southbound lane on N Ashley Drive between I275 S-Tampa Ramp and W Tyler Street will be maintained at all times, with delays. 

The sidewalks in the work area will be closed during construction.  Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.

All lanes on I275 S-Ashley/Tampa Ramp between I275 S and I275 S-Tampa Ramp and on N Ashley Drive between I275 S-Tampa Ramp and W Tyler Street will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Thursday, July 16, 2020, weather permitting. 

The City recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
