This notice is archived content and this information may no longer be accurate.

On Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at 9 a.m., one (1) northbound lane of Jefferson Street between Brorein Street and Whiting Street will close for roadway and infrastructure improvements. The lane will reopen on Friday, December 23, 2016, by 4 p.m. weather permitting.

Throughout this phase of work, the eastbound entrance to the Selmon Expressway at Jefferson Street will remain open to motorists. However, motorists traveling southbound on Jefferson Street will use the Selmon on-ramp generally accessed by motorists traveling northbound on Jefferson Street.  Trucks that normally access the eastbound Selmon Expressway on-ramp from southbound Jefferson Street will need to use Jackson Street to Nebraska Avenue eastbound Selmon on-ramp.

Jefferson Street between Channelside Drive and Brorein Street remains closed for roadway and infrastructure improvements, reopening in Spring 2017.

The northernmost lane of Channelside Drive between Florida Avenue and Nebraska Avenue also remains closed. The northern lane of Channelside Drive will reopen in summer 2017.
