Temporary Lane Closures of N Florida Avenue and E Cass Street to begin October 8, 2017 for Road Construction

A portion of N Florida Avenue between E Twiggs Street and E Tyler Street and E Cass Street between N Franklin Street and N Marion Street will close on Sunday, October 8, 2017 for road construction for the 915 Franklin residential tower project.  Lanes on N Florida Avenue between E Twiggs Street and E Tyler Street will close at 4 pm on October 8, 2017 for milling and pavement overlay on N Florida Avenue.  E Cass Street between N Franklin Street and N Marion Street will be closed for this portion of the work.  One (1) northbound lane on N Florida Avenue between E Twiggs Street and E Tyler Street will be maintained during the construction.
After completion the work on N Florida Avenue, E Cass Street between N Florida Avenue and N Marion Street will be open to traffic. E Cass Street between N Franklin Street and N Florida Avenue will remain closed for milling and pavement overlay.
All lanes on N Florida Avenue and E Cass Street will be open to traffic by 6 am on Monday, October 9, 2017, weather permitting. 
The cycle track on E Cass Street between N Franklin Street and N Florida Avenue will remain open during the construction.  
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
