Temporary Lane Closures of N Florida Avenue to begin March 27, 2018 for Utility Construction

A portion of N Florida Avenue between E Brorein Street and E Jackson Street will close on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, for utility construction.  A City contractor will be relocating a fire hydrant at the southwest corner of N Florida Avenue and E Jackson Street.  Two (2) lanes on N Florida Avenue between E Brorein Street and E Jackson Street will close at 9 am on March 27, 2018.

Two (2) lanes on N Florida Avenue between E Brorein Street and E Jackson Street will be maintained at all times during construction.  

The sidewalk on the west side of N Florida Avenue between E Washington Street and E Jackson Street will be closed during construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.

All lanes on N Florida Avenue between E Brorein Street and E Jackson Street will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, weather permitting.

The City recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
