Temporary Lane Closures of N MacDill Avenue to begin January 8, 2019 for Utility Maintenance

(This is a revision to a Traffic Advisory issued on November 19, 2018)

A portion of N MacDill Avenue between W Main Street and W Kennedy Boulevard will close daily from 9 am and 4 pm beginning on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, for utility maintenance.  A City contractor will be cleaning and relining sewer lines in the center of the roadway of N MacDill Avenue between W State Street and W Lemon Street.  One (1) southbound and one (1) northbound lanes on N MacDill Avenue between W Grace Street and W Cass Street will close at 9 am on January 8, 2019.

One (1) southbound and one (1) northbound lane of traffic on N MacDill Avenue between W Grace Street and W Cass Street will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

Traffic movements on W State Street and W Lemon Street at N MacDill Avenue will be restricted to right turns only.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the work area.

All lanes on N MacDill Avenue between W Grace Street and W Cass Street will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, January 25, 2019, weather permitting.

The City recommends using alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.

Southbound and northbound motorists can use between N Armenia Avenue/N Howard Avenue between W Main Street and W Kennedy Boulevard in lieu of N MacDill Avenue.
