Temporary Lane Closures N West Shore Boulevard to begin July 29, 2019 for Utility Construction

A portion of N West Shore Boulevard between W Cypress Street and W Spruce Street / Boy Scout Boulevard will close on Monday, July 29, 2019, for utility construction.  A utililty contractor will install a gas main on N West Shore Boulevard between W Main Street and W W Spruce Street / Boy Scout Boulevard. One (1) northbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between W Main Street and W Spruce Street / Boy Scout Boulevard and One (1) southbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between W Spruce Street / Boy Scout Boulevard and W Main Street will close daily between 9 am and 4 pm beginning on July 29, 2019.

One (1) northbound lane and one (1) southbound lane on N West Shore Boulevard between W Main Street and W Spruce Street / Boy Scout Boulevard will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

Sidewalks within the work area will be closed during construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.

It is anticipated that all lanes on N West Shore Boulevard will reopen by 4 pm on Friday, August 16, 2019, weather permitting. 

The City recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.  Northbound and southbound motorists can use N Lois Avenue between W Spruce Street / Boy Scout Boulevard and W Cypress Street, in lieu of N West Shore Boulevard.
