Temporary Lane Closures on S Armenia Avenue and W Azeele Street to begin March 23, 2020 for Building Maintenance
A portion of S Armenia Avenue between W Swann Avenue and W Azeele Street and W Azeele Street between S Armenia Avenue and S Howard Avenue will close beginning on Monday, March 23, 2020 for building maintenance. A private contractor will be installing a new roof on the condominiums located on the southeast corner of S Armenia Avenue and W Azeele Street.
The northbound lane on S Armenia Avenue between W Horatio Street and W Azeele Street and the eastbound lane on W Azeele Street between S Armenia Avenue and S Moody Avenue will close at 9 am on March 23, 2020.
One (1) eastbound lane and one (1) westbound lane on W Azeele Street between S Armenia Avenue and S Moody Avenue will be maintained on the north side of W Azeele Street at all times during construction, with delays.
Sidewalks within the work area will be closed. Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other available sidewalks at all times during construction.
All lanes on S Armenia Avenue and W Azeele Street will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, April 24, 2020, weather permitting.
The City recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
