Temporary lane closures on S Himes Ave between W Euclid Ave to the crosstown over pass to begin August 31, 2020 for Road Construction.

S Himes Ave between E Euclid Ave to the crosstown over pass will have temporary lane closures from 9 am to 3 pm beginning August 31, 2020, for roadway resurfacing. One south bound lane will be closed for construction and one will remain open for South bound traffic flow. When clean up and sweeping is finished, traffic will be shifted over closing the one south bound lane and reopening the other south bound lane for traffic flow. This will be repeated for the north bound lanes. Barricades, flaggers and MOT will be located In the area to assist with rerouting and traffic flow. Please consider alternate routes and use caution when driving near the aforementioned area. Modification to lane closures may be necessary during the course of the work.


The project should be completed by September 11, 2020, however, work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions.
