Temporary Lane Closures on S West Shore Boulevard to begin June 6, 2019 for Utility Construction

A portion of S West Shore Boulevard between W Bay to Bay Boulevard and W Swann Avenue will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Thursday, June 6, 2019 for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing drainage pipe on the east side of S West Shore Boulevard between Culbreath Isles Drive and W Bay Way Drive. The northbound lane on S West Shore Boulevard between Culbreath Isles Drive and W Beachway Drive will close at 9 am beginning on Thursday, June 6, 2019.

Northbound and southbound traffic will be intermittently maintained on the west side of S West Shore Boulevard between Culbreath Isles Drive and W Beachway Drive at all times during construction, with delays.

All lanes on S West Shore Boulevard between Culbreath Isles Drive and W Beachway Drive will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, June 14, 2019, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.  Northbound and southbound motorists can use S Manhattan Avenue/Henderson Boulevard and S Lois Avenue between W Bay to Bay Boulevard and W Swann Avenue in lieu of S West Shore Boulevard.
