Temporary Lane Closures of W Azeele Street to begin September 4, 2018 for Utility Construction

A portion of W Azeele Street between S Armenia Avenue and Henderson Boulevard will close daily beginning on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing gas lines on the north side of W Azeele Street between S Tampania  Avenue and Henderson Boulevard. One (1) westbound lane on W Azeele Street between S Tampania Avenue and Henderson Boulevard will close at 9 am on September 4, 2018. 

One (1) lane of westbound traffic on W Azeele Street between S Tampania Avenue and Henderson Boulevard will remain open at all times during construction, with delays.  Access to W Azeele Street from all side streets within the lane closure area will be maintained, during construction.

All lanes on W Azeele Street between S Tampania Avenue and Henderson Boulevard will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, September 14, 2018, weather permitting.

The sidewalk on the north side of W Azeele Street between S Tampania Avenue and Henderson Boulevard will be closed during construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks in the area via signage.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
