Temporary Lane Closures W Bay to Bay Boulevard that began October 11, 2018 for Utility Maintenance to be Extended

(This is a revision to a Traffic Advisory issued on October 9, 2018)

A portion of W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S Himes Avenue and S MacDill Avenue will close daily beginning on Thursday, October 18, 2018, for utility maintenance.  A City contractor will be inspecting sewer service laterals in the center of W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S Concordia Avenue and S Esperanza Avenue/Selmon Expressway off ramp.  One (1) eastbound lane and one (1) westbound lane on W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S Malijo Avenue and S MacDill Avenue will close from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on October 18, 2018.

One (1) eastbound lane and one (1) westbound lane of traffic on W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S Malijo Avenue and S MacDill Avenue will be maintained at all times, during the construction. 

All lanes on W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S Malijo Avenue and S MacDill Avenue will be open by 4 pm on Friday, October 19, 2018, weather permitting. 

The City recommends using alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.  Eastbound and westbound motorists can use W El Prado Boulevard between S Himes Avenue and S MacDill Avenue in lieu of W Bay to Bay Boulevard.
