Temporary Lane Closures W Euclid Avenue to begin July 29, 2020 for Utility Construction

A portion of W Euclid Avenue between S Manhattan Avenue and S Dale Mabry Highway will close daily from 9 am to 4 pm beginning on Wednesday, July 29, 2020  for utility construction.  A utility contractor will be installing a gas service line across W Euclid Avenue for a residential service on W Clark Avenue. The eastbound and westbound lanes on W Euclid Avenue between S Lois Avenue and S Grady Avenue will close intermittently at 9 am beginning on July 29, 2020.

Eastbound and westbound traffic on W Euclid Avenue between S Lois Avenue and S Grady Avenue will be intermittently maintained at all times during construction, with delays. 

The sidewalks in the construction area will be closed during construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks in the area via signage.

It is anticipated that all lanes on W Euclid Avenue between S Lois Avenue and S Grady Avenue will reopen to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, August 21, 2020, weather permitting.   

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid congestion.

Eastbound and westbound motorists can use W El Prado Boulevard between S Manhattan Avenue and S Dale Mabry Highway in lieu of W Euclid Avenue.
