Starting Tuesday, August 21, 2018, the westbound lanes in the 2900 block of W Gandy Boulevard between S Zion Street and S Quincy Street will close while department crews begin emergency repairs to a wastewater pipe and restore a depression in the road. Traffic will shift into the eastbound lane – utilizing one (1) lane for eastbound and one (1) lane for westbound traffic. Signage and arrow boards will be in place to direct motorists around the closed lanes and work site.

This repair and restoration of the area will be completed by close of business on Friday, August 24, 2018, weather permitting.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
