Temporary Lane Closures of W Tampa Bay Boulevard to begin February 10, 2020 for Road Construction

A portion of W Tampa Bay Boulevard between Air Cargo Road and N Lois Avenue will close daily between 9 am and 4 pm beginning on Monday, February 10, 2020 for road construction. A City contractor will be installing drainage, curbing, parking areas, and sidewalks for the West Tampa Bay Boulevard Linear Park.

 

One (1) eastbound and one (1) westbound lane on W Tampa Bay Boulevard between Air Cargo Road and N Lois Avenue will close at 9 am beginning on Monday, February 10, 2020.

 

One (1) eastbound and one (1) westbound lane of traffic on W Tampa Bay Boulevard between Air Cargo Road and N Lois Avenue will be maintained at all times during construction, with delays.

 

Sidewalks within the work area will be closed during construction.  Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times via signage to other sidewalks in the area.

 

All lanes on W Tampa Bay Boulevard between Air Cargo Road and N Lois Avenue will be open by 4 pm on Monday, June 15, 2020, weather permitting. 

 

The City of Tampa recommends that motorist use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.

 

Eastbound and westbound motorists can use W D. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard between Air Cargo Road and N Lois Avenue in lieu of W Tampa Bay Boulevard.
