Starting Tuesday, January 29, 2019, department crews will begin a road restoration project on East 4th Avenue, east of 15th Street. The lane shifts will begin midblock, slightly west of 16th Street. Signage and arrows will be in place to direct motorists through the reconfigured lane shifts. The department will install “no parking signs” on both the north and south sides of East 4th Avenue, east of 15th Street. These parking spaces will be in use as temporary lanes.

The repair and restoration of the road will be completed by Thursday, January 31, 2019, weather permitting. The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
