A portion of N Himes Avenue between W Spruce Street and W Cypress Street that closed on Saturday, February 9, 2019, as part of the Midtown Tampa development project will be extended.  A utility contractor will be installing sewer and water connections on N Himes Avenue between W Nassau Street and W Cypress Street as part of the next phase of construction.

The sidewalk on the west side of N Himes Avenue between the I-275 northbound on-ramp and W Cypress Street will be closed during construction.  Pedestrians will be detoured to other available sidewalks with signage.
