Temporary Road Closure of Cass Street will begin on October 11, 2016 for Utility Work

A portion of Cass Street from N. Franklin Street to Florida Avenue will be closed starting on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 for water main and service line construction.  This work is being completed by Dallas 1 for 915 Franklin Tower project constructed by DPR. 
The work is scheduled to be completed over two (2) week period, excluding Saturday (October 15) and Sunday (October 16).  Cass Street from N Franklin Street to Florida Avenue will close at 9am on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 and reopen to traffic by 5pm on Friday, October 14, 2016.  Cass Street will close again on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 9am and reopen by 5pm on Friday, October 21, 2016, weather permitting.
The bike lane on Cass Street from N. Franklin Street to N. Florida Avenue will remain open at all times.  
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
