Temporary Road Closure E 4th Avenue to begin November 27, 2017 for Utility Construction

(This is a revision to the Traffic Advisory sent out on November 27, 2017)

The ongoing utility construction schedule on a portion of E 4th Avenue between N 21st Street and N 22nd Street has been extended.   A portion of E 4th Avenue between N 21st Street and N 22nd Street will close beginning Monday, November 27, 2017 for utility construction.  A private contractor will be installing a water service connection to an existing business located on the north side of E 4th Avenue.  E 4th Avenue between N 21st  Street and N 22nd Street will close at 9 am on November 27, 2017.

All lanes on E 4th Avenue between N 21st Street and N 22nd Street will reopen by 4 pm on Friday, December 8, 2017, weather permitting.

The sidewalk on the north side of E 4th Avenue between N 21st Street and N 22nd Street will be closed during construction.  Pedestrian access will be maintained via signage to other sidewalks in the area at all times.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
