Temporary Road Closure of Lois Avenue to begin July 10, 2017 for Water Main Construction
A portion of Lois Avenue between Swann Avenue and Henderson Boulevard will close at 9 am on Monday, July 10, 2017, as part of a Capital Improvement Project. The City contractor will install a new 6-inch water main on Lois Avenue between Swann Avenue and Belle Vista Street. The following intersections will be closed during construction:
- W McKay Avenue
- W Inman Avenue / W Culbreath Avenue
- W Mullen Avenue
Access to the properties on Lois Avenue between Swann Avenue and Morrison Avenue will be maintained, at all times during construction.
The sidewalk on the west side of Lois Avenue at the northwest corner of Culbreath Avenue will be closed temporary during construction with pedestrian access maintained via signage.
It is anticipated that all lanes on Lois Avenue will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, August 4, 2017, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
