Temporary Road Closure N 30th Street to begin October 23, 2017 for Water Main Construction

A portion of 30th Street between E Hillsborough Avenue and E Sligh Avenue will close beginning Monday, October 23, 2017 for water main construction.  The City contractor will be installing water mains on N 30thStreet and on E Jean Street as part of a Capital Improvement Project. N 30th Street between E Hanna Avenue and E Fern Street and on E Jean Street between N 30th Street and N 32nd Street beginning at 9 am on October 23, 2017.

All lanes on N 30th Street between E Hanna Avenue and E Fern Street and on E Jean Street between N 30th Street and N 32nd Street will be open to traffic by 4 pm on Friday, December 8, 2017, weather permitting.

Local residents will have access to their properties at all times during construction.

Pedestrian access will be available on the west side of N 30th Street between E Hanna Avenue and E Fern Street, at all times during construction.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.  Northbound and southbound motorists can use N 22nd Street between E Hanna Avenue and E Sligh Avenue in lieu of N 30th Street.
