Temporary Road Closure S West Shore Boulevard to begin September 14, 2018 for a Capital Improvement Project

A portion of S West Shore Boulevard between W El Prado Boulevard and W Kennedy Boulevard will be closed on Friday, September 14, 2018, as part of the Upper Peninsula Stormwater Capital Improvement Project.  A City contractor will be installing sanitary sewer lines across S West Shore Boulevard at the intersection of W Estrella Avenue.  S West Shore Boulevard between W Melrose Avenue and W Clear Avenue will close at 8 pm on September 14, 2018. 

There will be intermittent sidewalk closures on S West Shore Boulevard between W Melrose Avenue and W Clear Avenue during construction.  Pedestrian access will be maintained on one side of S West Shore Boulevard at all times during construction.

It is anticipated that all lanes on S West Shore Boulevard will reopen to traffic by 5 am on Monday, September 17, 2018, weather permitting.
