Temporary Road Closure on West Cass Street to begin May 24, 2016 for UCAP Construction

This is a revision to the Traffic Advisory sent out on May 12, 2016

As part of the City of Tampa’s Downtown Utility Capital Improvement Projects (UCAP), the westbound lane on W. Cass Street between North Boulevard and Edison Street will be closed beginning Tuesday, May 24, 2016.  This closure is for the final tie in of the new 36” water main.  The lane closure shall be closed until approximately June 3, 2016.

Eastbound traffic into downtown Tampa on W. Cass Street will remain open.

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
