Temporary Road Closure of Zack Street to begin November 12, 2016 for 655 Franklin Street building maintenance

A portion of Zack Street from Franklin Street to Florida Avenue will be closed on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 8am to stage a crane for 655 Franklin Street.  The crane will be used to place mechincal equipment on 655 Franklin Street roof to upgrade the building’s refrigerant cooling system.   This work is being completed by Irvine Mechanical.  Zack Street should reopen to traffic on November 12, 2016 by 1pm, weather permitting. 

On Saturday, December 17, 2016 Zack Street from Franklin Street to Florida Avenue will be closed to traffic at 8am to stage a crane to remove the old mechanical equipment from the roof at 655 Franklin Street.  Zack Street should be reopened to traffic on December 17, 2016 by 1pm, weather permitting.   

The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid congestion.
