The City’s contractor, Dallas 1 Construction, will install a new 6-inch water main on Lois Avenue between Swann Avenue and Morrison Avenue. The Lois Avenue intersections at McKay Avenue, Inman Avenue/Culbreath Avenue, and Mullen Avenue will be closed during construction.

In addition, the contractor will complete water mains and roadway restorations on Lois Avenue from Azeele Street to Swann Avenue. The Lois Avenue intersections at De Leon Street, Dale Avenue and Horatio Street will be closed during construction.

Eastbound and westbound traffic on Swann Avenue at the intersection of Lois Avenue will be maintained at all times during construction.

It is anticipated that all lanes on Lois Avenue will be open to traffic by 4 pm Friday, August 4, 2017, weather permitting.

Access to all properties on Lois Avenue between Azeele Street and Swann Avenue and between Swann Avenue and Morrison Avenue will be maintained at all times during construction.

The sidewalk on the west side of Lois Avenue will remain accessible for pedestrians at all times during construction.  The sidewalk on the west side of Lois Avenue at the northwest corner of Culbreath Avenue will be closed temporary during construction with pedestrian access maintained via signage.
