Temporary Sidewalk Closure on Marion Street and Laurel Street to begin May 8, 2017 for Utility Construction

A portion of Marion Street between Laurel Street and Scott Street will have a sidewalk closure beginning on Monday, May 8, 2017, to install fiber optic cable for 1309 N Marion Street.  The sidewalk on the east side of Marion Street between Laurel Street and Scott Street will close at 9 pm on May 8, 2017. 

The sidewalk on the north side of Laurel Street between Marion Street and Morgan St will also close at 9 pm on May 8, 2017. 

The work is being completed by Bright House / Spectrum contractor.  It is anticipated that the sidewalk on Marion Street and on Laurel Street will  open to pedestrians by 4 pm on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, weather permitting.

Pedestrian access will be available on the west side of Marion Street between Laurel Street and Scott Street and on the south side of Laurel Street between Marion Street and Morgan Street, at all times during the construction.
