Traffic Advisory: Road Closures in Downtown and South Tampa Along Bayshore Blvd December 17, 2017 for Hot Chocolate 5k&15K Run
Traffic is expected to be heavier than normal this weekend in and around downtown Tampa due to the Hot Chocolate 5K & 15K road races. Drivers and pedestrians alike are advised to allow for extra travel time and to travel through the area with caution.
The street closures will begin at 3 a.m. and end approximately 12 p.m. The Sunday December 17th Race begins at 7 a.m. ending at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Please use suggested routes on the included maps to avoid congestion and delays.

Brorein to Bayshore Bridge
Westbound Davis Island Off-ramp onto northbound Bayshore Blvd.
Bayshore Blvd. from Brorein St. to Swann Ave.
Franklin St. from Old Water St. to Channelside Dr.
Platt St. / Channelside Dr. from Parker St. to Franklin St.
Bayshore Blvd. from Swann Ave. to Gandy Blvd.
The Tampa Police Department would like to remind all run participants and spectators to report suspicious activity. If you see something, say something. No tip is too small.
