Closure of East Sligh Avenue from Rowlett Park Drive to North 30th Street
Start: Monday, April 7, 2014
The City of Tampa will begin repair of a 36” transmission water main along Sligh Avenue. This work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 7, 2014 and will continue until the middle of June.
During this time, Sligh Avenue from east of Rowlett Park Drive to N. 30th Street will be closed to through traffic. There will also be lane shifts at the intersection of Sligh Avenue and N. 22nd Street. These closures are in addition to lanes which have been closed in the area because of emergency repairs.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes during this time to avoid any potential traffic congestion. Traffic will be detoured to Hanna Road. Access to businesses and residents will be maintained via local streets.
