This notice is archived content and this information may no longer be accurate.

City of Tampa Solid Waste collection service will occur as scheduled on Thursday, September 1st and Friday, September 2nd.  Customers may, however, experience collection delays because of expected heavy rains and possible flooding as a result of Tropical Storm Hermine.

The McKay Bay Waste to Energy Facility will maintain normal operating hours.  Customers may be affected by longer than usual wait times as a result of the weather.

Residential and Commercial cart and container deliveries will be delayed until weather conditions improve.

The SWEEP collection service scheduled for August 29th through September 2nd (boundaries:  Kennedy Blvd. to Swann Ave., Hillsborough River to Dale Mabry Hwy.) may also experience weather related delays.

For additional questions or concerns, please call the City of Tampa Utilities Consolidated Call Center at (813) 274-8811, or visit our website at www.tampagov.net/solidwaste.
