This month on City of Tampa Televisions (CTTV) Spotlight Tampa, Tampa Fire Rescue welcomed its newest class of firefighters, and CTTV followed the recruits through some of their vital training.  We learn about a national push for Congress to renew funding for the federal transportation bill, Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21).  HART held a bus "town hall" as part of Stand Up for Transportation Day. The Hillsborough County Extension Service introduces us to some great Florida-friendly landscaping plants that produce some funky flowers.  We tour the incredible Carol J. and Barney Barnett Learning Center at The Florida Aquarium, the latest advancement in the facility’s 20 years in environmental education.  Besito Mexican Restaurant opened its doors in the Westshore District. We pay a visit to the Islamic Charity Festival.  And the Tampa Museum of Art is featuring the work of Normal Rockwell in their latest exhibit, “American Chronicles: The Art of Normal Rockwell.”
