MISSING CHILD: Constance Bostick, 09/13/2011, B/F, at large

MOTHER: Teosha Blackmon, 7/26/1984, B/F, at large

On Saturday May 10th, the 2-year-old was admitted to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital for surgery. An hour after the surgery, the child's mother removed the IVs and took the child against doctor's advice. Hospital staff contacted the Tampa Police Department to conduct a welfare check on the child, but neither the mother nor the child could be located. CPID was contacted and yesterday, 5/15, the child was declared a ward of the state. Tampa Police officers have been looking for the child and her mother, but all of the leads have been exhausted. The mother has unrelated warrants for her arrest for felony grand theft and a battery probation violation. There are no family photographs of the child, but she is two feet tall, 32 pounds and she may have a drain in her left thigh. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the mother and or child is asked to call Tampa Police.
