A warrant has been issued for Keith Earl Davis, 43 (DOB: 12/3/1973), wanted for the murder of William Leslie McGoff at the victim's home on December 11, 2016. It is believed that Davis robbed and killed McGoff, taking several of McGoff's possessions, including his car. 

Tampa Police discovered that McGoff had been murdered on Monday, Dec. 12, after co-workers said he did not show up for work and asked police to check on him. Responding to McGoff's home at 4928 Chariton Avenue, police found McGoff's body and observed that the home appeared to have been ransacked.  McGoff was last seen alive on Sunday, Dec. 11. Forensic evidence implicates Davis.

The investigation, so far, shows that Mr. McGoff’s car - a black 2013 Hyundai Sonata with a Florida tag 113VFT - has been spotted in north Florida and Louisiana with a person matching Davis' description.  Anyone who sees this vehicle or suspect is asked to contact police immediately.

Police intend to charge Davis with 1st degree murder, robbery with a weapon, and grand theft. Davis was released from prison in 2015 has a local arrest record that includes grand theft, robbery, and aggravated battery with great bodily harm.
