West Tampa CRA will hold three strategic action plan meetings

10/16/17

On October 23, 2017 the public is invited to attend the first of three community meetings that will focus on the City of Tampa’s Community Redevelopment Area (CRA) Strategic Action Plan for the West Tampa CRA. In 2015 the City of Tampa designated the West Tampa Community Redevelopment Area, per Florida statute. The next step is the development of a strategic action plan to guide the use of revenues and redevelopment initiatives. The Strategic Action Plan (SAP) for the West Tampa CRA will be a five-year plan, with one-year increments, which identifies specific programs/investments within the West Tampa Redevelopment area. The initial public meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Ball Room of the Bryan Glazer Family JCC, 522 N Howard Ave, Tampa, FL 33606.

The West Tampa CRA redevelopment area includes all public and private property located within its boundaries: North – West Columbus Drive; South – South Kennedy Blvd.; West – N. Armenia Ave.; and East – Hillsborough River.

The City of Tampa, the West Tampa CRA Advisory Committee and Consultant Team KimleyHorn invite the community to visit the city website for more information at https://www.tampagov.net/economic-and-urban-development/programs/community-redevelopment-areas/West-Tampa-CRA
