Meet Your Trainers:

Kristina Musante, JD, is the Director of NCRC’s National Training Academy, a lawyer, and advocate for economic and social justice.  Ms. Musante specializes in non-profit capacity building in the context of using the Fair Housing Act and Community Reinvestment Act to compel public and private investment in poor communities and to the non-profits that serve those communities.  Ms. Musante has over 20 years’ experience in fund raising, board development, program management, and coalition building around community development, health care, criminal justice reform, child welfare, and affordable housing.  A graduate of FAMU College of Law and tenacious advocate Ms. Musante assists communities across the country in driving investment and funding to local non-profits and communities by enforcing the law with community coalitions. 

Pamelia Harris is a community development specialist focused on providing solutions to critical challenges impacting mission driven entities.   A general contractor and former senior vice president of construction who found a niche in crisis resolution, rescuing failing public facilities construction projects, she became sought after to assist vulnerable for-profit and nonprofit entities through crisis management, disaster recovery and strategic planning.  With over 25 years of leadership experience as an executive director, division manager and consultant, Pamelia holds several certifications and has successfully collaborated with municipal community development agencies, non-profit and for-profit organizations. She now coaches, facilitates and trains in governance, board development, strategic planning, resource management, operations management and policy development. Believing every family should have decent living conditions; in the 1930’s her grandfather began building houses for neighbors in the impoverished Alabama Black Belt. He passed that principle to Pamelia, who now passionately works to help others gain equal access to affordable housing, utilities and credit.
