The Planning & Urban Design Division is comprised of multiple disciplines that are directly related to current and long-range planning and development projects throughout the City of Tampa.
The Division serves as the lead for nine (9) primary focus areas:

Accela Citizen Access
NOTICE: The Development Services Center is now offering, free of charge, Accela Citizen Access Monthly Training Classes. Please visit the Accela Citizen Access - Help Center for more information.
Accela Citizen Access is Tampa's online portal for property owners wanting to apply for a rezoning, right-of-way vacating, subdivision review, change a property's address, or zoning-related alternative design exceptions, among other Land Development processes, are now able to complete applications online, check on the status of those applications 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and also pay online for those applications. For directions and a 'demo' on how to use the Accela Citizen Access portal, please visit aca.tampagov.net, click on the "Planning tab." and then click on "Watch the Accela Citizen Access Demonstration".
Proposed Land Development Decision Notifications
For the purposes of compliance with public notice requirements pertaining to Land Development Decisions, the following registration service is to be used pursuant to City Code Section 27-149 as outlined per City Ordinance Number 2011-12:
PLEASE NOTE: The above mentioned Ordinance Number is in a "PDF" format and will require the Adobe Acrobat Reader version 6.0 or later. If you do not have the reader installed, or would like to update to a newer version, you can download a free copy from the Adobe site. Also, you cannot save any data typed into any of the application or petition forms on this page. Once you have completed the form, you must press "Print Form", if you would like to retain a copy of the completed form.
What do I do with this?
It's called a QR Code...A type of two-dimensional barcode that can contain information, such as a url link to this web site, or other valuable information. The Land Development Coordination Division now uses QR codes on some of it's documents. Just scan the QR code with your smartphone to get the latest up to date information.
