Natural Resources Advisory Committee

About

The City of Tampa Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP) was accepted as the Strategic Plan for the management of Tampa's Urban Forest in November 2013. This is a plan with a 20-year planning horizon, defining criteria, performance measures, and alternatives for action. To ensure continued progress and implementation of the plan, it calls for the creation of a Natural Resources Advisory Committee (NRAC), which will consist of a balanced representation of members from a variety of government, business, and neighborhood interests.

Purpose

Address issues to promote government efficiency by annually reviewing the Urban Forest Management Plan audit and making recommendations on the alternatives for action to be addressed to the Planning Department.

Time Commitment

The Advisory Committee will meet twice a year. Please see tentative meeting schedule.
