One Tampa is an effort to help preserve everything we love about our city. Many small businesses, families, and individuals are in critical need of financial support. Now is the time to rally together and rise up as One.

Families and Individuals may recieve up to $1,000 for rent and mortgage and up to $250 for utilities
Small businesses in specific industries may recieve up to $4,000 for rent or mortgage an up to $1,000 for utilities.

The Relief Now; Rise Together Fund

The City of Tampa has established the Relief Now, Rise Together Fund to provide financial relief to eligible small businesses, families, and individuals negatively impacted by local COVID-19 orders. The relief program is an emergency grant focused on the most basic needs - rent and essential utilities.

For eligible applicants, the program will provide direct payments for rent or mortgage and essential utility costs.

Individual Relief Program - The Individual relief plan was created for individuals who were employed at the time this crisis hit and lost their job or were furloughed because of it. The application process is now closed. Review of pending applications continues on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.

Business Relief Program - The Business relief plan is designed for small businesses located in the City’s ‘low income census tracts’ or community redevelopment areas’ and are most vulnerable to slipping through the cracks for resources and relief. Round 1 of the Business relief plan is completed. Round 2 will begin June 1 for a 5-day pre-application period.

For both programs, the City will remit payments directly to landlords, mortgagors, or to TECO on behalf of qualified relief recipients.
