The Tampa Convention Center is located in the heart of Tampa’s downtown, offering beautiful waterfront views of the Garrison Channel connecting to the Hillsborough River and direct access to some of the city’s top attractions. Only a 15-minute drive from the Tampa International Airport, the convention center puts you steps away from unique hotels, dining, parks and entertainment.
Our facility is situated along the Tampa Riverwalk—a 2.4-mile walking/biking path that connects the convention center to other hotspots in Tampa’s Downtown. Some of the main attractions along the riverfront sidewalk include The Sail (Tampa’s only 360-degree open-air bar), the Tampa Bay History Center, Amalie Arena, Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park, the Tampa Museum of Art, and The Straz Center.
In addition to walkable attractions, historic Ybor City and Sparkman Wharf are also within close proximity, giving visitors a chance to explore even more of Tampa’s must-see historic districts, attractions, restaurants and exciting nightlife.
