The Tampa Boat Show is sailing through the convention center this weekend, bringing with it impressive boats and yachts of all sizes.

Over 400 boats and yachts have dropped anchor at the convention center this weekend for Tampa Bay’s only on-water boating show. Visitors can browse the latest makes and models with displays set up both inside the main exhibit hall and outside along the Tampa Riverwalk.

To support this event, floating docks were built around the existing convention center docks to create Tampa Bay’s largest floating marina. In addition to browsing the marine beauties, attendees also have an opportunity to take on the water training classes, shop boating and fishing supplies, and more.

Transportation

This event is expected to attract 15,000+ attendees, so we encourage visitors to plan ahead and allow ample time to park.

Our convention center garage will fill quickly, however, there are several additional parking options located nearby. Our top recommendations include:

  • Fort Brooke Parking Garage

107 N. Franklin Street

Just a few blocks from our facility, the Ft Brooke garage offers over 2,500 sports for a rate of $1.60/hr (max of $9.50 per day). The Tampa Streetcar also has a stop just outside the garage along Franklin Street which offers free rides every Saturday to our facility (Dick Greco Plaza).

  • South Regional Garage

301 Channelside Drive

Just one block from Tampa Convention Center, the South Regional Garage offers 1,450 spaces for an hourly rate of $1.60/hr (max of $9.50 per day). Please note, this garage services both the Tampa Convention Center and Amalie Arena, so it may fill quickly when both venues are hosting events.

For more parking suggestions, please see our parking guide here.

The Tampa Convention Center looks forward to hosting an exciting event and welcoming visitors from across the state. For more information about the Tampa Boat Show and to purchase tickets, visit http://www.tampaboatshow.com/.
