NCAA Tourney Town Dribbles Towards the Tampa Convention Center

The NCAA Women’s Final Four Championship is heading to Tampa—and as if that wasn’t exciting enough, a free fan festival will be held right here at the convention center.

Tourney Town – April 5-7

Tourney Town presented by Capital One will be an exciting 3-day festival jam packed with fun activities, games, giveaways, autograph signings, special guests, and more. This FREE event is open to the public, giving NCAA Women’s Basketball fans a place to come together and celebrate the sport.

25,000 attendees are expected to visit Tourney Town for this once and a lifetime event. Located just a short walk from Amalie Arena, Women’s Final Four fans will be able to easily bounce between the two venues.

NCAA Bounce – Sunday, April 7th

Get ready to BOUNCE! The NCAA invites youth 18 and under to dribble along the Tampa Riverwalk from Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park to the Tampa Convention Center. The first 2,000 participants will receive a free basketball and shirt.

Transportation

There will be heavy traffic in Tampa’s Downtown this weekend due to the Women’s Final Four Championship. Drivers and pedestrians are encouraged to allow for extra travel time.

Parking

The Tampa Convention Center garage will fill quickly due to an expected 25,000 attendees over this weekend for Tourney Town. Alternative parking can be found just a short walk (or free streetcar ride) from our building at the Ft Brooke Garage. Attendees can also park in the Channel District (Port Garage) or one of the many lots/garage in Ybor and ride the free streetcar to our building.

Tampa Streetcar

The Tampa Streetcar offers FREE rides to/from our building (via Dick Greco Plaza) with service ever 15 mins. Riders can travel between Tampa’s Downtown, the Channel District, and Ybor. See the routes and live wait times at http://tecolinestreetcar.org
