The Sail Prepares to Host an Independence Day Celebration with Prime Fireworks Viewing

Red, white, and blue drinks from The Sail for the 4th of July

Get ready for a star-spangled 4th of July celebration at The Sail!

This year, our outdoor waterfront bar, The Sail, is honoring Independence Day in true American fashion. This Wednesday, The Sail will host an Independence Day Celebration complete with food trucks, live music, and fireworks viewing at 9pm.

The festivities will kick off at 11am with several food trucks and live music, and will continue into the night with a fireworks show presented by Water Street Tampa at 9pm. The 4th of July fireworks are traditionally held in Channelside Plaza, however, due to the Water Street Tampa construction, they have moved this year to a barge in the water just off of the Tampa Riverwalk, near the Tampa Convention Center and The Sail.

This new location for the fireworks makes The Sail an optimal viewing area to kick back and watch the spectacle with food and drink in hand.

The Independence Day schedule of events is as follows:

Casablanca Fusion

Sugar Shack

Sexton’s Pizza

The Bacon Boss

The Melt Machine Food Truck

Just Smokin BBQ

11am-3pm: J2

5pm-11pm: DJ Elemental Soul
