Get ready for those mid-conference pick-me-ups to get a whole lot sweeter—a new coffee bar officially opened at the Tampa Convention Center over the weekend, serving one of America’s favorite brews.
As one of the Tampa Convention Center’s capital improvement projects, the new coffee bar offers a casual café-style setting where convention-goers can meet fellow colleagues and refuel with some of their favorite Starbucks products and snacks.
The coffee bar opened for the first time on Friday, July 13th during GuardianCon. Over the weekend, hundreds of guests enjoyed freshly brewed Starbucks coffee and other treats from the completely redecorated café. Sporting a modern and clean aesthetic, the new coffee bar is conveniently located adjacent to the exhibit halls on the 3rd floor.
This new food and beverage addition is expected to be a major asset for the convention center, giving visitors one more amenity to enjoy during their stay. While it is not a franchised Starbucks, the coffee bar carries the We Proudly Serve Starbucks (WPS) designation, offering both hot and iced menu-favorites to customers.
Operating hours will vary, with the next opening scheduled for METROCON (July 19-22).
