About The Mayor's Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Advisory Council

The purpose of the City of Tampa Mayor's Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Advisory Council is to advise the Mayor and the City Council on issues affecting the AAPI community, promote and celebrate the AAPI culture and heritage, and advocate for policies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the City of Tampa. The Advisory Council also seeks to foster greater communication and collaboration between the City of Tampa and the AAPI community, and to serve as a resource for AAPI residents and organizations in the Tampa Bay area.

Meetings

The City of Tampa Mayor's Asian American Pacific Islander Advisory Council (MAAPIC) meets at 6 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, the meetings are held at the Columbus Municipal Office Building, 3402 W. Columbus Drive.
