Chairperson, Attorney Kamilah Perry, Esquire

This committee serves as liaison to African-American community groups by exposing and seeking solutions to problems related to racism. Another duty of the committee is to submit recommendations to the City concerning:

  • Development
  • Revitalization
  • City Services
  • Other resources that sustain quality living standards

 

Chairperson, Shaun Robinson

    This committee is responsible for:

  • Disseminating City budget information at town hall meetings on a quarterly basis
  • Addressing issues that deal with the economic plight of the city's less affluent citizens
  • Making suggestions for City budget spending

    This committee is responsible for:

  • Keeping the community aware of changes in police policy and procedures
  • Assisting with civil disorders as needed

    This committee is responsible for:

  • Promoting and encourage cooperation among citizens and local school districts
  • Promoting efforts to advance a quality educational experience for young people
  • Monitoring trends that affect Tampa's youth and families
