Play in Our Parks this Summer!

summer camp Remember of friends you made at summer camp? Each summer the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department welcomes thousands of children who come to share friendship, adventure and fun. City of Tampa Resident Priority registration begins March 29.  Check out what's happening in your park.
 

Summer Employment Opportunities

It's not too early to be thinking about summer employment. Applications will be accepted for a variety of summer jobs including lifeguards, art instructors, athletic instructors, reading coordinators and recreation leaders. Find out more.

 

Mayor Iorio's Fitness Walk - March 13 at Al Lopez Park

Shake off those winter blues and join Mayor Pam Iorio for a fitness walk around Al Lopez Park, located at 4810 N. Himes Avenue, on Saturday, March 13.  Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. in the Hunt Community Center, located in the park and the walk will begin at 7:30 a.m. The walk is free, but registration is required. The first 200 walkers registered that morning will get a Walking with the Mayor - Keeping Tampa Fit T-shirt.
 
 

Reduced Fee For After School Activity Program Application

New fees are now in effect for our After School Activity Program. We want every child to have an opportunity to participate in our recreation programs and are offering families a multi-child discount. Further discounts are available based on income. Download the Application for Reduced Fees packet.
