Your park is the coolest place to be after school. Parks offers structured after school programs for youth ages 5-17 at 29 sites throughout Tampa. Registration for the After School Activities Program begins Monday, July 21. View the complete list of program sites.

Pack up those coolers, load up your gear and get outside!  July is National Parks and Recreation Month. Tampa Parks and Recreation Department touches the lives of individuals, families, groups and the entire community, which positively impacts the social and economic health and environmental quality of our community.  We urge all citizens to celebrate by participating in their favorite leisure and recreational activities or by visiting one of our parks.

Walking with the Mayor -- Keeping Tampa Fit

Mayor Iorio invites you to join her on Saturday, October 18 at Al Lopez Park for a fitness walk and free health screenings. All registered walkers receive a free T-shirt. Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. and the walk will begin at 7:30 a.m. The Mayor will walk four miles, but you can do as much or as little as you like. Don't wait in line, pre-register now by downloading the Authorization Form and mailing it to : Walking with the Mayor, 1420 N. Tampa Street, Tampa, FL 33602.
